Originally from Estonia – small country with no mountains – I always dreamt about foreign places with greater vertical eminence. Getting masters degree in Anthropology and having career as Database Administrator was not enough and I decided to try other ways to fulfill my life.
Years of travelling and living in many countries ensued and have given me uniquely diverse experience. After studying videography in Turkey and working as a professional photographer in Australia it was not so surprising to end up working as a video editor in the Banff Centre.
So Canadian Rockies became the place where my love for mountains and passion for photography and videography flourished and were fruitfully combined.
Well experienced in outdoors no matter the conditions. I feel comfortable climbing on rock and ice in sunny crags, mountaineering high in the alpine or camping on vast cold glaciers.
Bow valley is nexus of Canadian rock climbing and world renown for its frozen waterfalls in the winter time. Living here has given me chance to use my broad skillset when working on movie projects with top athletes like Adam Ondra and Marc-Andre Leclerc.
